Nigerian Dwarf Goats
This is our very first goat we purchased.  Her name is Misty and she is a chamoisee Alpine doe.
Nigerian Dwarf goats are wonderful, little animals!  They are affectionate, hardy, and wonderful mothers.  They kid easily, usually with twins or triplets.  One of my favorite things to do is go into the goat yard to sit and watch them play.
Their size makes them ideal to handle, cheaper to feed, and the perfect amount of milk for a family.  They are also easier to transport if you decide to get into showing.
They are great for pets, showing, and milking.  (They also mow down weeds pretty good!)  :-)
They are, as well as all other goats, a herd animal, so you definitely need more than one. 
We feed a mix of corn, oats, BOSS (black-oil sunflower seeds), and Goat Chow.  They must also have access to clean, fresh water as well as free-choice baking soda and a mineral mix.
Sales Policy.  The animal you would like will be held with a 50% deposit for an agreed upon time span to give you time to arrange to pick up your animal.  After that, a $1 a day boarding fee will apply.  We do not air ship animals.  Any health checks or vet certificates needed for the animal to be transported from our state to yours will be your responsibility.
